GUeSt BloGgEr : Weakness Vs Strength

Have you ever been caught unawares..?. I mean the kind where you get all awestruck and your sockets go in freeze?
If yes then you know exactly what I felt this morning if no then simply continue reading this post and thank me later.

Today we feature the amazing Mable who is the wheels behind the blog Growing Pains.
She picks inspiration from 2Corinthians 12:9-10 -When I am weak then I am strong.
Mable has her way with words and am sure you will all relate with this post.

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome with me…

Your Truly- Mable 🙂

In Him I am Made Strong

Weak, Lord
That is what I am
Wretched, Lord
That is who I am
I am a small,
Inconsequential human
I am a puny, fickle being
I am weak.
What the accuser says
Is right
All the things
I said I wouldn’t do
I did anyway
My mind justifies the sin
I bask in everyday
With the age old words
Human is what I am
To err is human
This is what, we weaklings, do, Lord
It doesn’t change this,
I am fully and truly guilty
Standing before you
-Judge
I set aside my pride
And fall to my knees
Crying out,
I am weak.
My body is weak.
I have no strength.
I can not do it on my own
I don’t know who I am
But You, Oh perfect Judge
Sweet Lord
You look at me
With such compassion in Your eyes
You say the words that set me free..
The words that vindicate me
“Child, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
I am weak, Lord
But You are strong
And I choose to lean on You

2Corinthians 12: 9  And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Thank you for reading a round of applause please.
I personally have a weird attachment to that Scripture it reminds me that there is nothing wrong with feeling weak especially if we have one to anchor on.

On Friday I will also be sharing my two cents on weakness and strength. I hope to share in line with our guest bloggers and tackle certain stereotypes.

Plus allow me convey my sincere apologies I had hoped to share the short story series on weakness by a guest blogger but after much thought we agreed to make it an independent series all together.

Otherwise thank you so much Tales of a curious family for making us. Am always excited to hear from you :).

Belows of love
